Before You Go

Questions,

Answered

When and where do we leave?

Friday, March 13, 2026 from the Colossus Theatre parking lot. Be there for 9:00am with passports in hand and the cross-border travel permission letter completed.

When do we get back?

Sunday, March 29. The plan is an early evening arrival, but traffic can change that. Please stay flexible on pickup between 4:00pm and 8:00pm.

How many games will the team play?

We aim for eight to ten games across Washington, Oregon and California. Every fixture is a full 90 minutes with a complete referee crew.

How much spending money is needed?

Plan on $650 to $850 USD across the trip to cover breakfast, lunch and dinner. Amusement park tickets are not included in that estimate.

How are meals handled day to day?

Meals are planned the day before with input from the players, and healthy options are the priority. Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods are common stops.

Do the athletes visit universities?

Yes. Campus visits are built into the daily schedule across CCCAA (JUCO), NAIA, Division 1 and Division 2 programs, with coaching on the pros and cons of each pathway.

Who drives and who chaperones?

Three Kia Carnival rental vans with a driver in each: Shawn Agnew, Dennis Schmidt, TJ Sugars and strength coach Jon Thompson.

Is there a medical kit on tour?

Yes, a full medical kit travels with the team. Every family completes a digital medical form before departure so staff know about any conditions.

Do we need a border letter?

Yes. A consent letter is required to cross the border with a minor: see travel.gc.ca for the current form. Triple-check the passport expiry date before you travel.

What about travel insurance?

Contact your own insurance provider with the trip dates and details. Insurance is not included in the tour fee.

What happens on rest and recovery days?

Light training such as stretching, foam rolling, yoga and ball work, plus beach days, outlet malls and sightseeing. Plans stay flexible around location and the group.

Are there laundry options?

Some hotels have laundry facilities and two laundry days are planned. Bring a laundry bag and mark it clearly.
